| WHAT:
|
A 30-42 member
team will ride bicycles non-stop from Houston to
Fairbanks (4450 miles in 12 days!),
to raise funds for the research, patient aid and
educational programs of the Leukemia Society of
America (LSA). |
| WHY: |
Leukemia is the
#1 child killing disease in the world; however,
ten times the number of adults die of
leukemia than do children. Police officers always
want to "catch a killer" and the Team's
goal is to
"arrest leukemia." |
