Ban Dihydrogenmonoxide! The Invisible Killer! |
| Dihydrogenmonoxide
(DHMO) is colorless, odorless, tasteless, and kills uncounted thousands of
people every year. Most of these deaths are caused by accidental
inhalation of DHMO, but the danger of DHMO do not end there. Prolonged
exposure to its solid form causes severe tissue damage. Symptoms of DHMO
ingestion can include excessive sweating and urination, and possibly a
bloated feeling, nausea, vomiting and body electrolyte imbalance. For
those who have become dependent, DHMO withdrawal means certain death. DHMO:
Quantities of DHMO have been found in almost every stream, lake and reservoir in America today. The pollution is global, and the contaminant has even been found in Antarctic ice. In the Midwest alone DHMO has caused millions of dollars of property damage. Despite the danger, DHMO is often used:
Companies dump waste DHMO into rivers and
the ocean, and nothing can be done to stop them because this practice is
still legal. The impact on wildlife is extreme, and we cannot afford to
ignore it any longer!

Seriously folks... it's all "water" under the bridge!!!! hehehehe
![]() Perhaps you've heard of it: a colorless, odorless liquid; a powerful coolant and solvent; an easily- synthesized compound which is used by industry, the military, commercial operations, and even private individuals. Yes, we are talking about hydrogen hydroxide, also known as dihydrogen monoxide, and we are here to tell you that what you've heard about DHMO is probably not the whole truth. There are forces out there, such as the Coalition to Ban Dihydrogen Monoxide, who would seek to legislate its use and availability, placing heavy limitations on it-- and eventually, eradicating it entirely. In the interest of fairness, we invite you to see their argument, and then we urge you to return here, to learn the truth. Their subversive agenda must not be allowed to prevail.

Classification of chemistry: |
A chemical substance is a substance that: |
| Physical
chemistry: The pitiful attempt to apply y = mx + b to everything in
the universe. Organic chemistry: The practice of transmuting vile substances into publications. Inorganic Chemistry: That which is left over after the organic, analytical and physical chemists get through picking over the periodic table. Chemical Engineering: The practice of doing for a profit what an organic chemist only does for fun. |
A biochemist turns into a helix. A chemical engineer turns into a profit. An organic chemist turns into a foul odor. A physical chemist turns into a straight line. |
